Description

The Digital module (M368) is a compact multifunctional S-meter designed primarily for use with radio transceivers. Equipped with a 1.8-inch graphical display and built-in firmware that simulates the behavior of an analog needle meter, it accurately displays received signal strength. For best results, the module should be connected to the IF (intermediate frequency) output of the transceiver. It supports digital readout in S-units and dB, with presets to match different display styles.

In addition to its core S-meter function, the M368 also operates as a VU meter when connected to the AF or line output. The needle responds to audio input in real time, and the PEAK indicator lights up at high signal levels. The module can also be used as a voltmeter across three selectable voltage ranges (0–12V, 0–36V, 0–100V), adjustable via a trimming resistor.

The module offers:

• 2 S-meter presets with scale S and dB readout

• 16 VU meter presets with various color and needle styles

• 3 voltmeter ranges with 10-bit ADC resolution

• Power supply: +5V to +12V, 60 mA consumption

Control buttons allow switching between preset modes. This is an ideal signal visualization tool for amateur radio setups, audio projects, and DIY measurement systems.
