For the operation of the stabilizer should choose the right voltage transformer. 12V at the output can be obtained when using a transformer with a secondary winding of 11V. However, such a transformer will not provide the maximum current in the load. The maximum input AC voltage allowed for the chip is 25V. But it should be understood that with such a transformer, the microcircuit will heat up more, therefore it is recommended to use 12V transformers designed for 1.0A current.
U1 chip for better heat dissipation must be installed on the radiator.
