Description

12 band sound equalizer you can use with Icom, Yaesu, Kenwood and other radio. Most popular microphones is Heil PR-40, Heil PR-781, Shure SM-58, BM-800 and other.

This is a universal device, next microphone type can be connected to it:

  • Elecret
  • Dynamic
  • Hand mic
  • Condenser 48V

You can use microphone with connection:

  • 8 pin pole jack (optional)
  • 3.5mm (unbalanced )
  • XLR (balanced)
  • XLR (balanced) 48V

Also device have 6.3mm jack for PTT ( foot switch etc.).

Power connection is USB-B 5V/300ma (with peak 1A).

Phantom power 48V is always built in, you can enable/disable it via menu or switch.

    I have used the UR6QW sound processors for a few years now without any problems. First the 8 band eq ,then the 10 band digital eq,and when I saw the new 12 band V.8 I wanted one. Only took 2 weeks to arrive and I really like it. Once again Sergey and company have put a whole studio of rack gear audio processing into a small box. The audio is amazing, the display is beautiful and easy to read, and the recorder works great. Another well built and well thought out product from UR6QW & UX4LA. This Will make your station and voice sound amazing. Thanks

    After a while of use I must say that the guys UR6QW & UX4LA have done a amazing job. I have used the V.6 version and I am the owner of a V.7 pro, I recently upgraded to this new 12-band V.8 version and I only have good comments. A lot of useful information on the screen, a much better development than the V.7 and the possibility of saving presets is simply great although I would like us to have some more memory space.

    It wouldn’t have been a bad idea to implement some method to dump an entire configuration backup on the computer and have it available in case I had to restart the device, but even so I am very very happy with my new toy.

    Hello.
    I would like to thank Sergey for the great job he did. I had many EQs, but the V8 12 band equalizer is currently the best sound equalizer I have had, and I had several of them from PL-USA and elsewhere, but the EQ from UR6QW did what I expected))

    I bought this Model, the (V8), to upgrade from the 10 Band EQ V7, which i was very satisfied with. But this release is one step ahead, All on one sight and the capability to store 3 different microphone profiles. I tried and exchanged during several QSO : the Kenwood stock hand mic, whow, very good, a sennheiser headset, even better, and, at least, a one inch large diaphragm electret studio microphone, brilliant, got excellent audio reports even without asking. A fine piece of engineering, top communication with the seller and very swift shipping and delivery. Would i buy it again ? Yes, it’s worth every euro.     My first UR6QW sound processor was the 8-band EQ bought in 2017, which is still in use at a friend because I needed the 10-band digital EQ, but when I saw the new 12-band V.8 at an other day, I had to have one.
    It didn’t even take a week and it arrived very neatly and safely packaged.
    A great and irreplaceable device. Thanks to the 3 profiles, I can now switch between my headset, the Rode Mic or my handheld microphone without any major changes. I am thrilled and can recommend such a device to everyone. Sergey and his company have developed a really useful little box. The display is beautiful and easy to read and operate and the recorder is a great addition that works really well.

    I had a big audio chain with DBX 286, DBX 131, Behringer DEQ2496 etc. With my icom 7300. As i’m not an audio technician, i was able to get it to a good audio but not 100% satisfactory and complicated to change from casual to DX mode. So I decided to go for the 12 Band EQ from UR6QW. I should have done it from the beginning. Very easy to set it up. The manual was perfect as I have the Heil PR40 and shows exactly what to set it for that microphone. Needed just very small adjustments to my voice. Rest was spot on. Unsolicited Audio reports speak for itself. BBC sound was a very common comment. Needless to say, that I’m very pleased with the device. Thank you.
